A Brief History

Derp Studios was founded during Make Something Unreal Live 2012, where the winners of a Train2Game and Epic Games game jam were tasked with creating a mobile game using the Fighting Fantasy License by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone.

The game took 8 months to develop from scratch using Unreal Engine 3 and the final week of its development was hosted live at MSUL 2012 at the Birmingham NEC during The Gadget Show Live.

For many of us, this was the first video game we had ever worked on.  The team overcame many trials and tribulations throughout the games lifecycle and played a major role in kickstarting a lot of our careers in the games industry.

The game is no longer available due to IP license expiration, but below you will find the trailer and footage of our team talking about Dire Consequences.
